Macrostax is looking for a Paid Ads Manager to join our rapidly growing Boulder-based health & fitness startup!

Why you will love the job: We are looking for an experienced Paid Ads Manager to drive new customer acquisition, optimize and scale our paid social + search campaigns, and support various marketing initiatives. In this role, reporting directly to the CMO, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the demand generation engine that pushes Macrostax to new heights through paid advertising. Your Main Responsibilities include: As the Paid Ads Manager, you will define our digital acquisition strategy and identify new opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. Working as an individual contributor, in partnership with our boutique growth agency, you will develop, recommend and manage the day-to-day paid marketing and search activities across multiple channels (Google, Bing, and social channels, etc.) to drive new client acquisition. More specifically, you will:
Manage all aspects of Macrostax’s paid marketing channels across paid search, paid social, and more; including planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and campaign optimization.
Identify and scale cost-effective customer acquisition and reactivations strategies across a range of digital channels.
Set, monitor and optimize campaigns to hit clearly defined monthly targets, quarterly goals and annual objectives.
Create performance reports on paid ads campaigns for key metrics like conversions, customer acquisition costs, revenue, and lifetime value of customers brought in from paid channels.
Constantly looking for new opportunities for growth and testing new ad channels/platforms.
Continually build, test, and tweak social and search marketing campaigns to maximize their results.
Convert web and social traffic into qualified leads, using a range of targeting strategies.
Implement A/B testing and strategic ad experimentation that minimizes cost per conversion and maximizes paid sign ups.
Identify relevant metrics and insights. Leverage Google Analytics reporting.
Optimize ad conversion tracking and testing.
Manage budgets and improve ad spend efficiency.
What we are looking for in you: We’re looking for someone with robust experience across multiple performance marketing channels and deep expertise in paid social and display.
At least 4+ years of experience managing paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, etc) in a similar role, ideally in the SaaS/tech space with six figure per month budgets.
Analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets and pull out actionable business insights from paid ads metrics.
Deep familiarity and experience with digital marketing and customer acquisition metrics including CPL, CAC/CPA, CPC, CPM, and ROAS.
Proven track record of executing A/B tests, optimizing campaigns and translating data into insights.
Working knowledge of SEO.
Good understanding of Google Analytics.
The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced (startup) and changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; plus, attention to detail.
Comfortable working remotely.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business or other related fields.
Additional experience we'd like you to have: Optimal candidates will have experience with the following:
Google Ads certification in search, display, discovery and remarketing. (or have strong related experience)
Obsessed with growth and building things while not being afraid to get your hands dirty.
Developed B2C, as well as B2B, digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
A growth strategist who can derive insights, recommendations and action plans from qualitative market trends, user research, consumer feedback, and large data sets.
A team player who has a contagious “can-do” attitude that is results and deadline oriented.
Experience working in a fast paced environment delivering results by building strategies and identifying opportunities to scale growth and to increase efficiency through optimizations and testing, meeting/exceeding KPI targets.
Experience in (or a personal passion for) fitness, health and nutrition.
