Macrostax is looking for a Part-Time Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Boulder, CO. Our goal at Macrostax is to help change lives through balanced nutrition, education, and a supportive community. We are the world's leading platform for counting macros. We create custom macro plans, matched with personalized recipes and meal suggestions, to help our customers achieve their health goals. Since our founding, we have helped more than 100,000 individuals eat in a more balanced and sustainable way for their body type. Our software platform, our library of proprietary macro-friendly recipes, and our team of nutrition coaches, have helped our customers improve their relationships with food and transform their bodies.
The Customer Support Specialist role plays a big part in our growth as well as the quality of service we deliver to our Macrostax customers. By the end of 2021, we will be launching our new mobile platform and are seeking individuals excited to collaborate, provide feedback, and support the team through this exciting transition. At this time we are currently looking for local Colorado Applicants.
Monday’s 11:00-2:30 pm (preferred but flexible)
Wednesday’s 2:00-6:00 pm (preferred but flexible)
Friday’s 2:00-6:00 pm
Open to working 6 hours on Saturday’s as needed
Willing to provide some holiday support as needed, not including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Flexibility to pick up additional shifts, on occasion, to support PTO or business needs for the Customer Success Managers.
Potential for hours to increase as business needs increase.
1-2 years experience in customer support
1-2 years fitness/nutrition coaching experience
1-2 year sales experience closing leads
Highly patient and empathetic
Extremely proficient typing skills
Strong analytical mindset
Macrostax past or present subscriber and believes in the vision of the company
Passionate about health, fitness, and learning new things
Ability to work remotely proficiently
Ability and willingness to adapt to change
Additional Skills and Qualifications The Ideal Candidate Would Possess
Experience in customer support at a tech company or SaaS startup
PN Level 1 or other related nutrition certification
Degree in Dietetics or related field
Experience coaching others
Experience working with Intercom or similar live chat platform
Job Responsibilities and Key Tasks
Customer support and coaching customers via Intercom, email, private Facebook group, and all social channels.
Closing leads by answering questions or comments with thorough and enticing information about Macrostax.
Aid with customer retention strategies.
Administrative and housekeeping tasks, including sales operations and reporting metrics.

As one of the early stage members of our team, you will have the ability to present new ideas and implement them to grow untouched areas of our Customer Success department.

$20-$25 an hour depending on experience.
