Macrostax is looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join our Boulder-based health & fitness startup!
Title: Sales Executive
Reports to: CEO

Location: Boulder/Denver -100% remote currently but will be moving back into office 2x/week middle of 2023. Some travel required.
Compensation: Base salary plus quarterly commission structure

Since our founding in 2017, we have helped more than 150,000 individuals eat in a more balanced and sustainable way for their body type. Our software platform, our library of proprietary macro-friendly recipes, and our team of nutrition coaches have helped our customers improve their relationships with food and transform their bodies.
We recently launched our new business-to-business product, Macrostax Team, to empower fitness professionals to give their clients custom nutrition plans in minutes. We are looking to rapidly scale this side of the business in the coming year and need your help. As part of our small but growing team, you will be the first sales position hired and get the opportunity to create the foundation for the sales department and map out the future for Macrostax Team.
Your main responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the customer sales cycle for small to medium sized accounts
- Responsible for the initial configuration of all client offerings and services, which may require proposals or offering demonstrations
- Manage complex contract negotiations when a large account presents itself
- Build the foundation pipeline for our prospective accounts
- Responsible for development of market sales plans and execution
- Work cross functionally with CEO, Customer Success, product and marketing teams in building proposals and pipelines to tackle the untapped market
- Develop messaging and positioning based on account profile and industry to assist in the closing of business
- Be proficient in multi-departmental and persona based selling strategies
- Find and execute a CRM from scratch and create a workflow that new members of the sales team can pick up
- Identify, measure and track key sales process KPIs
- Be knowledgeable on trends within the health and fitness space
- Develop proposals based on client drivers
- Use a Challenger based selling methodology
- Conduct sales presentations to prospects at all levels and in a variety of departments
- Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Who YOU are:
- 3-5 years experience in B2B sales
- 3-5 years experience using CRM systems
- Skilled at negotiating business terms with senior management
- Natural competitive personality
- Ability to identify holes in the market and own them
- Gets fired up about starting a sales foundation from scratch
- Hungry for more responsibility and knowledge
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Local to Boulder/Denver or willing to relocate
- Able to proficiently work remotely when not in the office
- A passion for the nutrition and fitness industries
