Like most fitness franchises, owners have access to everything franchises offer. In fact, all MADabolic franchise locations offer a nutrition blueprint, a standardized template to help clients with basic nutrition needs. However, Malek knew he wanted something more for his location and his members.
So when it came to searching for a nutrition management platform that would fit his vision for his MADabolic location, as well as his need for streamlined operations, he looked to Macrostax Team.

In a second follow-up cohort, Malek re-enrolled 15 participants for another $1,500, earning a total of $5,000 of incremental revenue from nutrition alone.

As a businessman, Malek knows how to strategically amplify the value of his offerings and services. He promised participants access to the Macrostax nutrition app, a personal 1-hour onboarding call, customization of their nutrition plan, body composition scans, and bi-weekly virtual check-ins. By developing his own standardized process for each client, Malek was off to the races.
“I created a low barrier of entry, low-cost model,” Malek explains. “I provided a value-add service that people could afford, while also getting them to see how nutrition can be a game-changer. Connecting those two concepts got them excited to be in the studio. It helped them feel good while challenging themselves, which goes hand in hand with seeing results.”
Speaking of results? Malek says he had a lot of great success stories but one that stands out was a woman in late 50’s that lost 25 lbs of fat and built lean muscle. “She was consistent in the studio and followed the programming”, Malek remembers. “And then she got results. That’s a testament.”
Since then, Malek has successfully added over 50 nutrition clients to his account and hopes to add more by continuing to strategize on the service. Instead of a standardized $34.99 monthly price, Malek wants to offer flexible options for those who either need or don’t need extra support.
For clients that just want to track their food without additional coaching, he now offers a $14.99 monthly option. For those who want or need accountability and one-on-one coaching, Malek offers a $74.99 monthly option, plus encouraging a 9-month commitment for best results. With 6 clients currently on this plan, and 7 clients on the former plan, he is able to provide the best of both worlds while also increasing his recurring monthly revenue.

When it comes to the software and how it can streamline workflow, Malek says, “The dashboard is super helpful. It gives me an idea of who’s actively tracking and who’s inputting things regularly so I can evaluate and respond right away.”
On top of being able to regularly and efficiently communicate with clients from the Macrostax Team platform, Malek is also looking forward to more revolutionary features on the product roadmap.
“Being able to have customized macros and meal plans based on what’s in their fridge and pantry is going to be exciting. It will open up the possibility to increase the price point, or increase the number of potential people that are interested in this.”
